Boozhoo, my name is Cassandra Holmes – (Niiwin Muck-Wa Ikwe – Four Bears Woman). I am a long-time resident at Little Earth of United Tribes and an enrolled member of Lac Courte Oreilles Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians (LCO). I am a mother and first-time grandmother this year. I work at Indian Health Board (Community Health Worker) & American Indian Community Development Corporation (Housing Manager). Little Earth / East Phillips is my home. The community is full of strong people, and I am grateful to be surrounded by everyone here. I am happy to be on the EPIC board and thankful for what I have learned. The board is full of awesome community members who give their all for us.
